Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse depicts the traditional Venetian investiture scene within a beaded inner circle: Saint Mark, seated and nimbed on the left, extends the gonfalon (ducal banner) to the kneeling Doge Alvise Pisani on the right, who receives it in a gesture of submission and devotion. The figures are rendered in high relief in the late Baroque style, with detailed drapery on both saint and doge. The circumscribed Latin legend reads S*M*V*ALOYSIVS*PISANI*D, identifying Saint Mark of Venice and the reigning doge. The engraver's initials ZF (Zorzi Foscolo) appear in the lower exergue, flanked by decorative rosette stops.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays the iconic Lion of Saint Mark passant guardant, shown in profile facing left with large spread wings, resting its forepaw upon an open book inscribed PAX TIBI MARCE EVANGELISTA MEVS. To the left stands a turreted cityscape representing Venice. The entire composition is set within a beaded inner circle, with the circumscribed Latin legend DUCATVS VENETVS encircling the design. Three mint or privy marks appear in the lower exergue below a horizontal ground line. The engraving style is characteristic of the mature Venetian silver coinage of the early eighteenth century.
