| 表面の説明 | Square klippe flan with a rope-bordered oval cartouche set on a diamond-oriented field, enclosing the quartered arms of the archbishopric of Salzburg: a crowned lion rampant to sinister in the dexter half, and a fess with a saltire in the sinister half, all rendered in high relief. Decorative scrollwork and foliate ornaments occupy the four corners of the klippe, with a crowned top element surmounting the cartouche. The overall design is executed in the elaborate Renaissance style typical of late sixteenth-century Salzburg coinage. |
