| Descrizione del dritto | Central field displays a quartered heraldic shield, the arms of Wallachia, surmounted by a patriarchal cross above the escutcheon. The shield is divided into quarters bearing alternating horizontal stripes and a crescent motif. The design is rendered in a bold, primitive hammered style characteristic of early Wallachian coinage. Vladislav I — known as Vlaicu Vodă — issued these ducats following Wallachia's consolidation of control over Severin, establishing one of the earliest indigenous coin series from the region.
