Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Charles VII facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and laurel wreath. The circular legend reads CAROLUS VII D G ROM IMP S A (Carolus VII, by the Grace of God, Roman Emperor, always Augustus), distributed around the entire periphery. The engraver's initials appear in the lower left field. The portrait is executed in the restrained Baroque style characteristic of Johann Leonhard Oexlein, with naturalistic facial features and flowing drapery at the truncation.
