Obverse description Ornate quartered heraldic shield surmounted by a great helm with crest, displaying the arms of Breslau, the Bohemian lion, the Silesian eagle, and the letter W alongside the bust of John the Evangelist; at the center of the composition, the severed head of John the Baptist is depicted on a charger. The civic initials S.P.Q.W. (Senatus Populusque Wratislaviensis) appear prominently in the field above the achievement of arms. The overall design is rendered in the elaborate German Renaissance heraldic style characteristic of early seventeenth-century municipal coinage.

Reverse description The entire reverse field is occupied by a bold six-line German inscription in large capital letters, commemorating the prize awarded at the Great Shooting Festival held in Breslau on 31 August 1614. The legend reads AN. 1614 / DEN. 31 AVG. / KLEINOT. / DES. GROSSEN. / SCHISSEN. IN / BRESLAW, translating as 'Prize of the Great Shooting [Festival] in Breslau, 31 August 1614.' A small decorative floral or foliate ornament is placed below the final line of text. The lettering is deeply struck and boldly rendered, filling the coin's field to the milled border. The execution is consistent with the hammered gold ducat coinage of the Breslau municipal mint of the period.
