Obverse description Armored bust of Sebastian I of Hatzfeld three-quarters facing right, wearing elaborately decorated plate armor with an ornate gorget and visible chain order. The effigy is rendered in a bold, slightly archaic style consistent with late Renaissance German coinage. A beaded inner border frames the portrait, with the surrounding legend reading RVDOLPH : II : D : G : R : I : S : A : • SEBAS : A : HATzFELDT : NO : D . I . WILD : 7, referencing both Emperor Rudolf II and Sebastian of Hatzfeld-Wildenburg.
