Obverse description Panoramic cityscape of Nuremberg viewed from the south-east, depicting the city's characteristic skyline of spires, towers, and rooftops rendered in fine relief. Above the city, a radiant Eye of God (the all-seeing eye within a glory of diverging rays) occupies the upper field, lending the composition a devotional character. The city name NURNBERG appears in the exergue below the cityscape, separated by a plain border. The overall design reflects the engraving style of J. P. Werner, combining topographical precision with Baroque decorative sensibility.
