Reverse description An eagle displayed in profile, with head turned to look over its right shoulder, perched atop a helmet, rendered in the bold, somewhat schematic style of hammered medieval coinage. The letter 'K' appears in the left field. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the central device, bearing the voivodal proclamation of Dan. The composition follows conventions seen on contemporaneous Wallachian ducats issued during the co-rulership of Mircea I and Dan I.
