背面描述 The entire field is occupied by a ten-line Latin inscription in mixed-case lettering, naming the four heads of the Hohenlohe-Langenburg line — Ludovicus, Philippus Christianus, Carolus Henricus, and Augustus — born of the same brothers and united in happy union. A decorative foliate ornament separates the main text from the lower exergue panel, which contains the closing motto SIT VNIO HAEC PERENNIS in two lines, followed by the mint-official initials C.G.L. A small six-pointed star or fleuron appears at the very top of the field above the first line of text. The coin is framed by a finely milled border throughout.

附加信息

Hohenlohe-Langenburg was among the smallest of the Franconian imperial counties, its minting rights a jealously guarded privilege that produced issues more useful as political statements than as circulating currency. By 1751 the county's population numbered only in the thousands, and a gold ducat of this quality would have represented several weeks' wages for a common laborer — making actual circulation essentially theoretical.

The "Louis Territorial division" designation refers to the partition arrangements among the Hohenlohe lines, a dynastic subdivision that generated distinct coinage rights for branches that would otherwise have shared a single monetary identity.
