Reverse description A quartered shield of arms surmounted by a royal crown occupies the central field. The four quarters display the heraldic devices of the Kingdom of Holland, including a lion rampant and an eagle, rendered in fine detail. Below the shield appears a bee mintmark. The date 1809 is inscribed at the base of the shield, and the circumferential legend KONINGRIJK HOLLAND. runs along the toothed border.
