Obverse description Full-length armored effigy of Emperor Joseph I facing forward, holding an imperial orb in his right hand and a scepter in his left, set within an elaborate baroque surround. The figure is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the armor and regalia. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design bearing the emperor's royal titles.

Reverse description Imperial double-headed eagle displayed without an inner circle, surmounted by a large ornate crown. The eagle bears the crowned coat of arms of the Habsburg territories on its breast, with elaborate feather detail throughout. The date 1710 appears in the upper field flanking the crown, and the mintmaster's initials PM appear in the exergue below. A Latin legend with the emperor's titles runs around the periphery, interrupted by the eagle's spread wings.
