| 正面描述 | Draped bust of Emperor Joseph II facing right, his hair dressed in the elaborate curled and flowing style of the period, wearing armored pauldron with decorative detail. The circular legend reads IOS II D G R I S A / GER IER REX, identifying him as Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, King of Jerusalem and Germany. The mint mark C (for Prague) appears in the lower field beneath the bust truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the refined Baroque style characteristic of Habsburg coinage of the era. |

Josef II ruled as co-regent under Maria Theresa from 1765 until her death in 1780, and ducats struck in his name during this period required her countersignature of authority — an arrangement neither found comfortable. The Prague mint, one of the older Bohemian striking facilities, produced these issues under that uneasy dual authority. KM#804 and KM#1859 represent cataloging splits likely tied to die variation or mint attribution differences that Krause did not fully reconcile across editions.
