(Translation: John Ehrenreich, Holy Roman Empire count and lord of and in Sprinzenstein and Neuhaus.)
Reverse description The elaborate baroque coat of arms of the Sprinzenstein family occupies the central field, consisting of a quartered shield featuring diagonal barry lines and animal charges including a bull's head, surmounted by a crested helm adorned with multiple heraldic crest figures — including a bird to the left and an eagle to the right — all supported by richly scrolled acanthus mantling. The date 1717 is prominently displayed in the upper field within the circumscribed Latin legend. The entire composition reflects the refined engraving style of the early eighteenth-century German school.
