Münsterberg-Oels was a Silesian Piast duchy held jointly by brothers — a dynastic arrangement common in the fragmented inheritance customs of the region. The three names on this coin reflect precisely that: Joachim, Henry III, and Charles II ruled together under an undivided title after their father's death, though Charles II would eventually inherit sole rule after his brothers died without male heirs.
