| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-length frontal figure of Christ in Majesty (Christus Pantocrator), standing upright within a pointed mandorla formed by a ring of eight-pointed stars. Christ is depicted in long robes, raising the right hand in benediction and holding the Gospels in the left hand. The surrounding field is plain, and the devotional Latin legend encircles the entire design, invoking Christ as King. The overall composition closely follows the reverse type of the Venetian gold ducat. |
