| Obverse description | Quartered shield bearing the arms of Bronckhorst-Manderscheid, surmounted by a coronet crown, occupying the central field. The dexter half displays a rampant lion, while the sinister half bears the Manderscheid device. A circular legend in Latin surrounds the shield, separated from the coin rim by a beaded border characteristic of hammered coinage of the period. |
