| Reverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a full-length armored figure stands facing, clad in period plate armor and bearing a halberd in the right hand; the figure's feet flank the last two digits of the date (77), completing the full year 1577. Initials are placed to either side of the figure in the field. The reverse legend, abbreviated in the manner typical of feudal Low Countries ducats, runs in the outer margin between pellet stops and the rim, invoking the issuing lord's authority and the gold denomination. |
