Obverse description Full-length effigy of King Frederik V in coronation regalia, standing facing right, robed in royal mantle and holding a scepter in his right hand and an orb (globus cruciger) in his left, rendered in a formal baroque portrait style. The king wears a crown, and the composition conveys regal dignity consistent with official coronation portraiture. The date 1747 appears below the figure in the exergue area. The surrounding legend, reading from upper left in Latin, identifies the monarch and his titles.
