| Obverse description | Within an oval cartouche surmounted by a royal crown, a Prussian imperial eagle displayed, facing right, with wings spread and sceptre in talon, rendered in high relief against a plain field. The oval cartouche is framed by a broad wreath of laurel and oak branches tied with a ribbon bow at the base, with individual sprigs extending symmetrically to either side. The coin's border is defined by a fine milled or toothed rim. No peripheral legend appears on this face; the design is entirely emblematic in character. |
