Obverse description Draped bust of Frederick III facing right, with flowing hair and a ribbon tie at the nape, rendered in high relief in the late Baroque tradition. The effigy is finely detailed, showing naturalistic facial features and cascading curls. The surrounding Latin legend reads FRID III D G PR A SALM KYRB COM RH & SYLV, identifying the ruler by his title as Prince and Count of Salm-Kyrburg. The inscription is separated from the bust by a plain field, and the coin edge is set with a fine beaded border.
