Obverse description Armoured and draped bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, with curled periwig, the shoulders clad in plate armour over lace jabot and gorget. The royal effigy is rendered in high relief with fine baroque detail. The circular legend reads FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX, distributed around the periphery of the field. The coin exhibits a beaded inner border consistent with Prussian ducat coinage of this period.
