Reverse description The reverse bears a seven-line Latin inscription in bold raised lettering occupying the entire field, reading PRIMI / REGNI PRUSS / HAEREDIS / CONIUGIUM / FELIX / 28 NOV / 1706, with the mint master's initials HFH appearing in the exergue below a trio of ornamental rosette devices at the top of the field. The inscription commemorates the happy marriage of the first heir to the Prussian kingdom. The plain field surrounding the bold lettering is devoid of further ornament, lending the design a stately, classical character.
