| Obverse description | Draped bust of King Frederick I facing right, depicted in elaborate court dress with lace cravat and armored pauldron, his hair styled in the fashionable long curled wig of the period. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the Baroque tradition. The circumferential Latin legend reads FRIDERICVS•D•G•REX•SVECIAE•, separated by pellet stops, running along the outer border. A bold milled rim frames the entire obverse field. |

| Reverse description | The Swedish royal coat of arms — a crowned shield bearing three open crowns arranged two-over-one on a horizontally lined field — occupies the central field, flanked by a decorative wreath of laurel and palm branches tied at the base with a ribbon. Below the wreath, crossed cannons with a flaming grenade device serve as a mintmaster's mark. The date 17-50 is divided and placed to either side of the lower shield, with the mintmaster's initials H•M• appearing at the base. The surrounding legend IN•DEO•SPES•MEA• arcs along the upper periphery, punctuated by pellet stops, all contained within a milled border. |
