Reverse description Central shield bearing the Prussian black eagle displayed, surmounted by a royal crown with elaborate foliate ornaments and acanthus scroll supporters flanking the sides, all within a circular inner ring. The surrounding Latin legend MONETA AUREA REGNI PRUSS with the date 1702 runs around the periphery. The overall composition reflects the grand Baroque heraldic style favored at the Prussian court in the early eighteenth century.
