| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a large, elaborately quartered heraldic achievement of the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, comprising a multi-partition shield bearing the arms of the various territories of the House of Hohenzollern, including eagles, lions, and other dynastic charges. The shield is surmounted by a princely crown adorned with a cross finial, and flanked by ornate mantle or lambrequin drapery falling to either side. The date 1763 is divided across the lower field to either side of the shield's base, with the mint master's initials C·L·R· inscribed in the exergue below. |

Frederick Christian ruled Brandenburg-Bayreuth for less than two months in 1763, dying in January before he could consolidate any meaningful authority. The Margraviate passed almost immediately to his son Alexander, making this ducat one of the shortest-lived issues in the long Brandenburg-Ansbach-Bayreuth numismatic sequence. Coins struck under Frederick Christian are scarce by any measure — not artificially so, but simply because the mint had almost no time to produce them.
