Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Frederick Augustus III (Augustus III of Poland) facing right, wearing a royal crown with elaborate detailing and armored drapery with a prominent shoulder clasp. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner. The circumferential legend in Latin reads D G AGVSTVS III REX POLONIARUM, interrupted at the base of the bust, encircling the portrait within a milled border.

Reverse description Crowned oval baroque shield bearing the quartered arms of Saxony and Poland-Lithuania, surmounted by an elaborate electoral crown, the shield flanked by laurel and palm branches tied at the base. The four quarters display the characteristic arms of the Saxon Electorate including the Rautenkranz bend, the Polish eagle, the Lithuanian Pahonia, and additional dynastic elements. The encircling Latin legend reads SAC ROM IMP ARCHIM ET ELECT, with the date 1754 at the upper left and the Dresden mint mark EDC at the base of the shield.
