Frederick Adolphus, Count of Lippe, turned 47 in 1714 — a birthday commemorated in gold at a moment when the small Westphalian county was navigating the turbulent aftermath of the War of the Spanish Succession. Birthday ducats of this type were a distinctly German courtly tradition, struck in limited numbers as gifts distributed among the nobility rather than released into general circulation, which explains the survival rate in comparatively fresh condition.
Lippe's output of commemorative gold is thin enough that individual pieces are cross-referenced across Ihl, Friedberg, and KM without much overlap in population data. This is not a common coin by any measure.
