Reverse description The elaborately helmeted oval coat of arms of the County of Lippe occupies the central field, quartered and displaying the traditional Lippian rose and other heraldic charges, surrounded by ornate Baroque scrollwork and mantling. The date 1716 appears prominently in the upper field flanking the crest, with the mint-master's initials H L positioned at the base. The motto legend curves around the upper periphery within a toothed border.
