| Reverse description | Elaborately ornamented heraldic composition centered on a crowned quartered shield bearing the arms of the Teutonic Order and the personal arms of Francis Louis of Pfalz-Neuburg. The central shield is flanked by large decorative cartouches and interlaced ornamental scrollwork occupying the four quadrants of the field, with the Teutonic cross shield prominently placed at the top. The surrounding Latin legend reads DUX. SAS. PR. COR. OP. NEIS. ET. B. S. R. I. PR. COM. GL., set within a beaded inner border. The overall design reflects the high Baroque heraldic engraving tradition of late seventeenth-century German ecclesiastical coinage. |
