| Obverse description | Draped bust of Prince-Bishop Francis Conrad of Stadion facing left, wearing ecclesiastical vestments adorned with elaborate lace and a pectoral cross, with long curling wig falling over the shoulders. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner, with fine detail in the drapery and facial features. The circular Latin legend surrounding the effigy reads FRANC CONR D G EPISC BAMB S R I PRINC, identifying him as Bishop of Bamberg and Prince of the Holy Roman Empire.
