Obverse description Full-length effigy of Emperor Ferdinand II standing facing right, robed in imperial regalia and holding a scepter in his right hand and an imperial orb in his left, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Two small crowned shields flank the figure at knee level: the shield of Bohemia to the left and the shield of Silesia to the right. The mintmaster's signature 'W' appears between the emperor's legs in the lower field. The Latin legend runs continuously around the beaded border.
