Obverse description Full-length effigy of Archduke Ferdinand II standing facing, clad in full plate armor with a crowned helm visible above; his hands rest on his hips in a commanding pose, with a sword at his side. The figure is rendered in the elaborate late Renaissance style characteristic of Habsburg coinage from the Graz mint. The circular Latin legend surrounds the figure within the coin's border.
