| Reverse description | A crowned, ornately decorated heraldic shield bearing the coat of arms of Carinthia is centrally positioned within a beaded inner circle. The two-digit date 51 (for 1551) is divided and flanked on either side of the shield. The encircling Latin legend, continuing from the obverse, records Ferdinand I's full royal and archducal titulature. The engraving exhibits the characteristic bold relief and intricate decorative treatment typical of Klagenfurt mint production of this period. |
