| Obverse description | Full-length standing effigy of Ferdinand I in elaborate armour, facing directly forward, holding a scepter in his right hand and a globus cruciger in his left. The figure's head, scepter, and feet break through a beaded inner circle that frames the design. The abbreviated Latin legend runs along the outer periphery, interrupted by the sovereign's extremities. The rendering reflects the imperial iconographic conventions of the mid-sixteenth century Habsburg coinage tradition. |
