Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Francis II facing right, rendered in high relief with naturalistic detail. The effigy displays a flowing queue and lightly draped shoulder. The surrounding legend reads FRANCISCUS II. ROMANORUM IMPERATOR, arranged along the full circumference of the coin in Latin script.

Reverse description A radiant altar or pedestal monument depicted in the centre of the field, surmounted by the imperial regalia including crown, sceptre, and orb, with fasces flanking the base. Radiating sunburst lines emanate from the altar toward the rim. The divided legend PACIS ET BELLI DECUS appears to the left and right of the central device. The exergue bears the inscription ELECT. FRANCOFURT. VIII and the Roman date MDCCLXXXXII, recording the coronation election at Frankfurt in 1792.
