Reverse description The reverse displays the elaborate crowned royal arms of Sweden, quartered with the three crowns of Sweden, the lion of the Folkung dynasty, and additional heraldic charges, all surmounted by a large ornate crown with flanking foliate mantling. Lions serve as supporters on either side of the shield. The circular Latin legend, split by the date 1647, reads · PR · FINL · DVX · ETHON · ET · CAREL · DOM · IN ·, recording Christina's additional titles as Princess of Finland, Duchess of Estonia and Carelia, and Mistress of Ingria. A beaded inner border and a rope or cable outer border frame the design.
