Reverse description Central device consisting of the interlaced royal cypher of Christian V — three interlocked Cs forming a trefoil knot — surmounted by a royal crown at the top of the field. Four heraldic shields occupy the four cardinal quadrants between the arms of the cypher: in the upper left and lower left, shields bearing the Danish lions and hearts; in the upper right and lower right, shields with additional heraldic charges consistent with the arms of Denmark-Norway. The composition is tightly arranged within a plain field with a granulated or milled border encircling the design. No legend is present.
