Obverse description Equestrian effigy of King Christian V in armour and plumed helmet, mounted on a prancing horse moving to the right, the horse depicted in levade over rocky ground with vegetation in the exergue. The king holds the reins with his left hand, the composition rendered in high relief against a plain field with no surrounding legend.
