Reverse description Central device comprises an elaborate interlaced triple royal cypher formed by three intertwined crowned letter C's, the monogram of Christian V, rendered in an ornate Baroque style and occupying the full central field. A single royal crown surmounts the cipher. The Latin motto legend PIETATE ET IUSTITIA is disposed around the periphery, split by the design elements. The mintmaster's initials CW and the date appear in the lower field or exergue, identifying the Copenhagen Mint responsible for the issue.
