| Obverse description | Central shield of Oldenburg arms superimposed upon a floriated cross, with four heraldic quarterings displayed between the cross arms: the arms of the Lordship of Stormarn, the Duchy of Schleswig, Holstein, and Lauenburg. The entire design is enclosed within an inner beaded circle, beyond which the encircling Latin legend runs, itself bounded by an outer beaded ring at the rim. |
