Beschrijving voorzijde Right-facing draped bust of Margrave Christian Frederick Charles Alexander occupying the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed periwig and lace cravat. The portrait is engraved in a Baroque court style, with the subject shown in armored or draped civilian dress with an order star at the chest. The circular legend reads ALEXANDER · D · G · MARCH · BRAND · G, abbreviated from the Latin for 'By the Grace of God, Margrave of Brandenburg.' A small engraver's initial G appears at the lower obverse, attributed to Johann Samuel Götzinger. The milled border frames the composition cleanly.

Beschrijving keerzijde Central device depicts the star of the Order of the Red Eagle — a rayed sunburst with a central medallion — presented within an ornate circular chain of the Order, composed of alternating decorative links. The chain and star are surmounted by a royal crown at the top of the field. A small Maltese cross or order badge appears at the lower center beneath the date. The split date 17 79 is inscribed in the lower exergual area flanking the mintmaster's initial, with the entire composition enclosed within the milled border typical of Schwabach Mint production.
