正面铭文 OBLECTAMINA PRINCIPIS
背面描述 A hooded falcon, perched upright upon a rocky mound at center, is rendered in fine detail against an open landscape with a church tower and village visible to the left and a heron standing in the field to the right. Above, a small falcon soars in the upper field. The circular Latin legend PLATUS TENDET IN ALTUM (The fledgling strives toward the heights) curves along the upper periphery, with a milled border encircling the design.

附加信息

Charles William Frederick ruled Brandenburg-Ansbach from 1712 until his death in 1757, a reign marked by his increasingly erratic behavior in later years — contemporaries described him as mentally unstable by the mid-1740s, with actual governance passing informally to his court officials. The "Falkendukat," named for the falcon imagery associated with his hunting obsessions, is a well-documented type within his coinage but was struck in limited quantities across scattered years.

Fr#351 places this squarely in the Feuchtwangen or Schwabach mint output for Ansbach, though attribution between the two facilities for individual years remains debated among specialists of Franconian coinage.
