| Reverse description | The Imperial Austrian double-headed eagle displayed in the center of the field, surmounted by a large imperial crown. On the eagle's breast is superimposed the quartered arms of the Habsburg dynasty, incorporating the bars of Aragon-Castile and other dynastic quarters within an ornate shield. The date appears in the left field beside the eagle. The surrounding Latin legend reads ARCHIDVX AVSTRIÆ DVX BUR CO TYR, citing Charles VI's titles as Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, and Count of Tyrol. The design is executed in fine Baroque relief characteristic of Vienna Mint workmanship of the period. |
