Obverse description Right-facing laureate and armored bust of Emperor Charles VI occupying the central field, depicted with flowing hair and elaborately engraved cuirass with decorative shoulder armor. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style characteristic of Habsburg coinage of the period. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, reading the emperor's titles, with the legend beginning at the upper left and continuing around the periphery. The coin's milled border frames the design with a beaded or toothed edge detail.
