| Obverse description | Draped bust of Count Charles Louis facing right, wearing a cuirass and an elaborately curled wig with flowing locks, rendered in high relief in the Germanic Baroque style. The portrait is positioned centrally within the field, with fine detail on the lace cravat and armored shoulder. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the effigy along the rim. |

The Latin motto legend DEUS PROVIDEBIT (God will provide) arches around the upper portion of the reverse, with a dot stop following the inscription. |
