Reverse description Crowned quartered coat of arms of the Bishopric of Regensburg, surmounted by an elaborate princely hat above a draped and mantled escutcheon. The shield displays the heraldic charges of the see and the personal arms of the bishop, divided into multiple quarters. The date 1770 appears in the lower exergue area, and the mint master's initials are present. The surrounding Latin legend S.R.I. PRIN. ET. PRÆP. WEISS. references the bishop's titles as Prince of the Holy Roman Empire and Provost of Weissenburg, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.
