Obverse lettering MON. AVR. HAMEVRGENSIS. AD LEGEM IMPERII.
Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed, wings spread, with an orb bearing a cross on the breast. The eagle's heads face outward beneath a single imperial crown. A circular legend surrounds the design, reading FRANCISCVS II. D. G. ROM. IMP. SEMP. AUGUST., giving the titles of Holy Roman Emperor Franz II, with the date appearing within the legend. The treatment is typical of late Holy Roman Empire coinage, with fine engraving of the eagle's plumage and regalia.
