Reverse description Double-headed Imperial eagle displayed in high relief, its two heads crowned separately beneath a single larger imperial crown surmounted by a cross. The eagle's breast bears a heart-shaped escutcheon charged with the Imperial orb and sceptre. The wings are elaborately rendered in the baroque style with fine feather detailing. The circular legend LEOPOLDVS D G ROM IMP SEMP AVG — identifying Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I — runs around the periphery, interrupted at the base by the eagle's tail feathers. A milled border encircles the entire composition.
