Reverse description A full-length crowned figure of Emperor Ferdinand II stands facing slightly left, draped in imperial regalia and holding a globus cruciger in his right hand. The figure is set against a plain field within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by the circular Latin legend identifying the emperor. The imperial crown surmounts the composition at the top of the legend. The rendering is characteristic of hammered German ducat coinage produced under Holy Roman imperial authority during the reign of Ferdinand II.
Reverse script Latin
Reverse lettering FERDI II D G RO - IMP SEMP AVG.
