Slowjamastan is a micronation declared in January 2022 by Randy Tillim, a San Diego radio personality, on a 11-acre plot of land in the California desert near the Salton Sea. The Duble is its official currency unit — the name itself a deliberate absurdist coinage. This note is less a monetary instrument than a collectible artifact of the micronational movement, issued alongside formal "citizenship" documents and passports as part of the republic's self-mythologizing apparatus.
